Funny things about me

So today I got home from working for dad and I had an epifany. I usually get home about 10 whenever I am out on the weekdays and then I turn on some tv and then hit the sack whevenever. Well today I wanted to put my laundry away but i saw my computer and was pulled in. Then I gave myself 10 minutes to catch up on the world and then I had to put my laundry away. I thought that it was funny and I wanted to do a post about all the things about me that I have a love/hate relationship with.

1. I am the worlds WORST procrasitnator. I love making lists of things that I can procrastinate. I never EVER do the things on my list. Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow. That is why my laundry has been sitting in a basket for a week and now I have to do laundry again and I just put it away today. TYPICAL!

2. I have the ability to turn any awesome haircut into a mullet and any mullett into an awesome haircut. How about them apples?

3. My best friends in the whole wide world are my sisters. This is good because I can tell them anything but then they are totally honest with me which sometimes I don't like to hear.

4. I have put up my christmas tree but I feel like I am not done yet (even though I am) so I still haven't put away my boxes with the left over christmas stuff (again with the procrastinating)

5. To this day i am still afraid of talking to other people that I don't know. Most of the time. It's funny because at school everyone thinks that I am super quiet. HA HA joke is on them. It's becuase I am an old fart in that school and I don't like to talk tko 18 year olds becuase they are SOO fake.

6. I don't make my bed. Only will I make it the day that I change the sheets. I 've tried geting into the habit so many times but it never works. It lasts for like 2 days.

7. I love to critique peoples papers but hate writting my own. Weird because I can tell them what is wrong with every sentance on their own paper but my papers always suck

8. I will forever be in love with Spot from Brooklyn

9.I have a weird fasination with drinks. ALl kinds mostly water though. And even weirder is what I drink it out of. I am picky about that mostly. oh and how old the water is. Mostly I will drink a big huge water in about an hour so if a water is older than that chances are good that I will not drink it. I am like the girl off of signs. Water gets old and gross.

10. I love reading but I am horrible at picking out books for myself. That is why I have sisters and friends to tell me what to read.

11. I love Christmas. Not because I get presents (don't get me wrong I do love that part) but because I get to spend all my money on other people and WRAP presents (my favorite part) and eat candy canes all I want and no one looks at me weird. I have been known to buy extra candy canes to get me through the year and when I bust one out in July people look at me weird. They are the crazy ones.

So that is a fun little post for you. I'm glad that I can find humor in my silly things that I do. I wish that I could think of more for you. They will all come to me as soon as I post this.

Dear Chloe,

I am glad that you like my awesome hair in that picture. That is a wig but I probably could do it with my real hair. Here are some pictures of me and my friends on Halloween. Most of my friends work all day long while I am at school. I have one friend who makes flower arrangements ALL DAY LONG! That job would be fun. Plus you would smell like flowers after you were done at work. All day at school I play on maniquen heads which are like big barbie heads with long hair. I put tin foil in their hair so that they look crazy and give them perms so that their hair is curly. How do you like school? Are you still on your break? What grade are you in? I don't remember. I wanna say 2nd. am I right? I want to come to your house soon, the problem is that I have school AND work that I have to do everyday. I miss you guys over there. Maybe I will try and come there after the new year. Enjoy the pictures of my friends and let me know if you want some pictures of something else. Update

I feel as if I should give un update but I don't know what to update on. Let's see..School is going great still. I started taking appointments last week. I have had my mother come in a lot and she is great to do it! mostly just her but I like her anyway. She gets to get pampered and I get to chill and chat with my mother all day long. At school I am on the floor which is taking appointments, from 9-12:30 and then I have lunch and then after that I am in class all day. Well today we learned about the placement of highlights and why putting them in a certain spot will make them look a certain way. It's funny becuase the whole time that the teacher was talking I was doing this "ok, I can see why that would happen but I don't understand all the technical terms." I think that those will just come with time. But I am learning more everyday! For our assignment we had to make up three different placement techniques and make a name for them just in case it became super popular. Well I named mine "The Penguin Flapper." It looks like a penguin flapping his wings. It's pretty awesome if I say so myself. So maybe it will catch on at school probably just so that people can say "Penguin Flapper." I know I would. Oh also at school. I let a girl borrow my straightener and then it got lost. So now she has to get me a new one. I love new stuff. Oh yeah and we learned extensions this week. So when jill has some time I will be getting her a whole set of extensions for free!! She just has to pay for the hair. Speaking of jill, we went to Joann's today to look for a Halloween costume (I LOVE halloween) and we decided after much tribulation, PJ peed on her leg and it dripped on the floor, GROSS!!! That we would be gypsies. Well technically I thought that it was the same things as a belly dancer but turns out that I was wrong. No hard feelings. So I should be posting some pictures of that after the Halloween Festivities on Friday.

Other than that not much else has been going on. Oh yeah, I got a job at Layne Bryant. I am pretty excited because I will get a discount off of clothes! HOORAY! I love discounts!

I'm new at this...

So obviously I am new at this seeing as how this is my first real post. I feel like I am so un-cool up until this point because I didn't have a personal blog. To be totally honest. I am not sure how I feel about typing up emotions and my to-do lists on the internet so we will see how this goes and I will decide from there.

So first off, I am currently attending Austin kade Academy. It is a cosmotology school with an emphasis on business practices, esthetican work and of course hair. Let me tell you why I am so excited about this: 1. I get to go to school everyday and finally not feel tortured to be there becuas I just get to make people look smoking hot! AWESOME! 2. for the 6 months leading up to when I would start it was freaking me about because it was my goal that I wouldn't have to take out a loan for it at all ($11500). Well thank goodness that I pay my tithing otherwise, who knows if I would have been able to do it! Make a long story short after a scholarship (which only 10 people got!!! GO ME!) and paying on time so an additional discount, I only ended up paying 8700. Wow..writing that check was horrible but so great at the same time! 6 months of hard work all on one check! It was rough! So anyway I am learning so much at school and I can start taking appointments soon so that is going tobe great when I can do that so that I can really be doing what I want to. So keep me in mind for when you need your hair colored or cut or if you need any other services...pedicure perhaps? also I have to wear all neutral colors so thanks to Macy's for getting me used to wearing all black...ALL the time. Some of these girls are not the best dressers in the world and I would like to tell them but they just don't seem to care so much!(that pic up top is our school logo. I'll try and get pictures of me at school)

Other than that.... I am not working right this moment because I wanted to get accustomed to actually going to school (yeah college wasn't so great for me on that) and just seeing what my work load was going tobe like before I found a job. So I am currently working let me know if you see anything out there for me! Plus I have a pretty intense church calling. I am the activities director and we have activities every week as well as a larger one once a month or so plus any of the pod activities that are done. So I stay pretty busy!
